With our relaxed vibe we tend to attract laid-back couples, and Laura & Jonty were one of our most chilled couples to date. They spent the morning of their wedding together enjoying themselves, swapping cards and Laura watching Jonty and his brother perform the bagpipes in the lounge (that was LOUD!).
Laura descended the Grand Hall stairs to a humanist ceremony conducted by Gina Williams, which was so lovely we quickly added her to our recommended supplier list.
September once again treated us to a dry and warm day, so guests were able to play games outside during the drinks reception. The tables were adorned with an abundance of eucalyptus thanks to the team at Penelope Fleur. There was an extra treat during the speeches, when guests were thrilled to find a scratch card under their chairs.
Jonty’s parents are proud beekeepers and produce the most incredible honey, so we turned a couple of jars into honey syrup to make a selection of honey based cocktails, which went down a treat with guests at the bar while taking a break from dancing to funky faves The Soul Establishment.
Adam Knight was back to capture the day on film, and we had the pleasure of working with Jen Owens for the first time and what a delight it was. See her gallery below.
