So we’ve been a little late announcing this one, mainly because as soon as we get one of her pieces on the wall, they get snapped up!
We’re thrilled to let you know that our 2023 Grand Hall Gallery Artist is Glasgow-based Samantha McCubbin.
Samantha’s practice is dependent on the integration of artistic elements; colour, texture, line and shape. Painting for her is about experimentation and ‘happy accidents’.
The main themes she explores are floral, landscape and abstract. She works from original photographs and still life’s, but mainly enjoys painting from her imagination.
Samantha paints from her studio in Glasgow’s East End, and she hosts painting workshops both in person and online. Visit her website for more info.
We have eight of her abstracts and landscapes on our walls this year, and they’re all available to buy, the perfect memento to take away of a Netherbyres wedding, just like two of our couples have done already.
