From the moment Brodie & Tom booked their wedding with us way back in 2022, we could not wait to host their wedding weekend.
They decided to bring their September date forward to June in order to get the best chance of being able to have an outdoor ceremony and reception. The day started off pretty hazy, with the boys heading down to Coldingham Bay for some pre-ceremony couples photos.
But we all kept the faith (while frantically refreshing our weather apps) and low and behold the sun peaked out from behind the clouds just as the boys began the walk from the house down to the garden aisle.
They kept it super personal by asking their friend Erin to conduct the majority of the ceremony, leaving the legal parts to official celebrant Susan Young.
Occasions of Eyemouth worked their magic on the beautiful flowers, which tied in with the blue and green theme of the decorations hanging from the Grand Hall balcony and the wedding party’s gorgeous mismatched dresses.
Chef Jules cooked up the most delicious dinner as always, with a sharing antipasti starter, beef cheeks and salsa verde for main and the most impressive dessert croque-en-bouche we ever did see.
It happened to be Edinburgh Pride day, so Brodie & Tom just had to head up to the roof with photographer Doug (Northern Aye Photography) to get the incredible pic below with our Pride flag flying proudly.
