We hadn’t even met Emily & Emery yet when they offered to make us a neon sign, so we knew straight away they were going to be the perfect fit for Netherbyres. The sun was shining the day they first came down to visit us, and over a drink at Bojangles Bar we discovered that Emily is from the exact same little village as Sarah, and not only that, she had randomly met one of Sarah’s bridesmaids in a vintage shop in Brooklyn! So of course the sign had to say “It’s fate”.
We knew that being the creative dream team behind Solas Neon, Fruit Salad Flowers and Chums Leith, that their wedding was going to be a creative colour explosion, and they definitely didn’t disappoint. Flowers Vermillion created the bold and beautiful blooms, complimenting the incredible fringed banner made by the bride herself, and the Lucky in Love neon made by the groom.
Emily walked down the aisle with her bridesmaids and bridesdog Ollie, to the ceremony conducted by Eyemouth local Celebrant Milqueya Collin from Fuze Ceremonies.
The food was a fresh Italian affair catered for by chef Harriet Corcoran, and the brilliantly bright cake was created by Sneaky Beets.
Emily’s hair and make up was done by her friend Pistachio.
The evening’s entertainment kicked off with ceilidh announced by the Pentlands Ceilidh band, followed by a funky DJ set with Miss Mobile Disco.
