Netherbyres House | An elegant & quirky wedding venue in the Scottish Borders

Chloe & Jack came all the way from Leicester to have their wedding at Netherbyres, as they felt like nowhere else was the right place for their wedding weekend. And what a weekend it was – a three day party starting with a picnic at the beach on the Friday, a full day of wedding celebrations on the Saturday, and finishing with a BBQ on the Sunday.

Gemma from Little Botanica had worked her floral magic to turn the Grand Hall into a Spring garden for the ceremony, which concluded with a surprise ‘Love Actually’ style Brass Band performance of ‘All You Need is Love’.

The sun shone all the way through the drinks reception, where the Aperol Spritz flowed and guests were treated to freshly shucked Oysters from The Oysterman and another set from Backstage Brass.

The evening finished with the most amazing performance of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Mariachi El Pinche Gringo, featuring the bride crowdsurfing in an inflatable dingy. Something you don’t see every day (check out the video on our instagram).
