From the moment we met them, we knew Kirstie & Ryan’s wedding was going to be our kind of day… an explosion of colour, glitterballs, and good vibes.
It felt less like working and more like spending the day with friends. We’d been so excited to have the wonderful Lou Rob back behind the lens — after meeting her last year, we knew we were in for a treat. And she didn’t disappoint.
Sarah Morrison was back conducting the ceremony in her usual relaxed and fun style, perfectly tying her outfit into the bold colour scheme.
Lazy Sunday were back too, serving up their signature sharing platters and the most incredible dessert table (they also catered our own wedding back in 2016, so it was a total full-circle moment!).
To top it off, Jordan & Hannah, our 2022 Netherbyres newlyweds, returned to fill the day with live music, from the ceremony right through to the evening party. Talk about talent!
The creative geniuses at Occasions took the glitterball theme and ran with it with sparkling displays on the stairs and altar, and even bedazzling our gold gazebo outside.
There were so many lovely and fun touches throughout the day, from doing a ‘first touch’ before the ceremony, to a surprisingly competitive game of ‘guess the first dance’.
And we couldn’t possibly not mention those shimmering bridesmaids dresses. A-MAZ-ING!

“I first discovered Netherbyres online around 2019 when searching for interior inspo and honestly I’m still pinching myself that we were lucky enough to get married there on 27th September 2025. From our initial enquiry until checking out on Sunday, both Sarah and Mike were exceptional wedding suppliers, hosts and just generally brilliant people💖! In the lead up no question felt too silly and all our emails were replied to quickly.
We wanted to ensure above all else that our guests had fun, just a big house party vibe and we certainly achieved that 🥳. So many of our guests have since told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. We might be biased but we totally agree and don’t doubt a large part of that is down to Sarah and Mike🥰. It’s their home, it’s amazing and they really do go out their way to accommodate any requests, make everyone feel at home and your wedding weekend perfect. They are both so hands on and helpful but in the most chilled way, somehow making it all look effortless. We booked a few recommended suppliers too and on the day everyone worked seamlessly together which gave us the best atmosphere and really allowed us and our guests to relax, enjoy the day and then let our hair down and dance (questionably 🤪) into the wee hours. We had the best of both worlds – a chilled wholesome day full of good vibes and then a party we won’t forget 🪩🕺
The house and decor speak for themselves🤩. You can totally tell how much effort has gone into curating the space and it definitely looks just as good, if not better, in real life 🥰 Netherbyres makes for incredible wedding photos whether or not you chose to add more decor of your own.
